This spring, Replay does not disappoint with their spring/summer 2016 collection! Staying true to their reputation of elite fashion and providing chic, edgy designs for the warmer seasons, they’ve designed a must have SS16 range. Replay incorporates five edgy-cool influences in their collection: Glam Biker, Army Pop, Sport/Athleisure, Contemporary Bohémien and Venice at the Beach.
A smooth and harmonious flow of smart fashion concepts, the collection consists of unique items that project a distinct personality while complementary pieces contrast the effect of every outfit.
The men’s line experiments with jackets, inventing new inflections with coated cotton fabrics, camouflage prints, smooth leather, jersey interlock, plus studding on lapels. Incorporating a sporty influence, white print tees and destroyed jeans are introduced. Contrasting to this look, leather jackets and biker prints make up an entirely black outfit, while a white version is offset by sweaters with Broken Age rips and Pollock drip painting designs. Print nylon bombers, exclusive-print shirts & bermuda shorts splash an array of colour to the range along with floral, foliage, geo and paisley patterns. Capping the range are pastel 50/1 jersey tees in bamboo, hemp and cotton fibers. Simply rich.
Denims make a statement, as only Replay knows how, with hand workmanship and a strong eco-aware spirit. The former is all about Broken Age, where a fully manual destroyed treatment results in wide, open rips. The latter underscores the brand’s constant pursuit of green production processes so as to reduce water consumption to the max.
Washes focus on the lightest and most summery hues of indigo, as well as monochrome shades of black and white. Against this backdrop, various treatments, glossy patches and prints feature prominently. These fits find extra softness in the denim’s ultrasoft texture, while skinny jeans offer an increasingly comfortable stretch factor.
