British brand Clarks combines global influences for autumn/winter ‘15
As Clarks celebrates its 190th year, the season’s key styles look to both the traditional and modern, combining the two to create styles which are perfect for now. Each shoe retains the artisanal techniques and details which are at the core of the Clarks design approach but they are also imbued with the unique footwear technology which makes every shoe a pleasure to wear.
For autumn/ winter ‘15, Clarks’ designers have scoured the world for inspiration, bringing global influences to a collection which always takes the origins of Clarks in the Somerset village of Street- where the head office is still based today- as the starting point. Whether it’s in the carefully considered colour palette or a specific choice of trim, attention has been paid to every detail to create a truly global collection with local values at its heart
The season’s offering spans heels, flats, boots and winter protection meaning that every need is answered across the Clarks collection.
Clarks creates a modern woman’s day-to-night heel wardrobe for autumn. Classic silhouettes come with perfected detailing and a nod to athleisure styling. The Amaline Eve is a modern take on a timeless shape with its extended platform and sleek, squared-off pointed toe. The Kadri Alexa takes the iconic smart casual silhouette of the desert boot and transforms it into a polished heel wrought in rich burgundy leather.
